Galldris Construction is working directly with the Principal Contractor, McLaren. This second phase of construction will enable McArthurGlen to add up to 50 new luxury and premium brands to the existing names already trading in the famous tented shopping centre designed by Lord Richard Rogers.

An additional 500 jobs will be created to bring Ashford Designer Outlet’s total workforce to 1,500 making this one of the largest of its kind.

Galldris will be delivering the substructure and RC cores for this scheme along with the construction of a new 1200 space car park commencing in April 18 and will be on site for 70 weeks. Former industrial use of the land has created some challenging ground conditions byway of contamination. Galldris will undertake the remediation and disposal of 40,000m2 of new floor slabs and hard standings and construct a new river crossing.
