Investing in the next generation.
We are proud to be able to give many young people an opportunity to start their working lives at Galldris. We are especially pleased when we see a new starter gaining skills, experience and confidence to progress through our business. We offer a high quality Apprenticeship Scheme, Graduate Scheme and Work and Summer Placements to young people and seek to recruit with the community. Every young person who works with us will be allocated an experienced and qualified mentor who will support them in achieving their learning and development goals.
We’re firm believers that apprenticeships are the best way to provide opportunity for young people and to create a new generation of talent for our business. Our apprenticeship scheme is long standing and growing. Very many of the people who now manage teams or are highly qualified within their specialist technical field, started their careers with us as apprentices. They have been able to progress through our business to hold senior positions and have helped us to become the business we are today.
Our Graduate Scheme is in place to help talented young graduates put theory into practice within a fast moving and successful business. We look for academic high achievers who can demonstrate the kind of practical ‘can-do’ approach we’re renowned for. In return, we’ll provide a structured career path and expert mentoring and professional support along the way.
Work & Summer Placements
Our Placements are an ideal opportunity for young people to get a taste of our industry, to understand its many facets and to decide which area interests them most. It’s a valuable and enjoyable experience which will stand them in good stead for their future career.
