Challenge

This development of prestige high rise residential units with underground parking was situated on a disused gas works on highly contaminated ground and over groundwater. The client was concerned to avoid cross contamination of underground aquifers when drilling bored pile. In addition, Thames Water placed restrictions on the amount of water allowed to be discharged into the sewer system.
